This discontinued expression of Old Pulteney 21 year old Single Malt Whisky, is matured mostly in second fill American oak, plus some ex-Oloroso Sherry first fill casks.
However, there is a higher proportion of ex-Oloroso sherry cask compared to the 17 Years Old.

Nose :
Full bodied with traces of fruits (apples and pears); slightly fragrant with spicy overtones.
Palate :
Creamy, toffee, vanilla, baked red apple with a hint of smokiness and a dry finish.
